  1. Big strong baitcaster

    This is a well designed and built rod. The only problem is that the spigot fitting may not slide into the handle far enough. With my rod it would only slide into the handle not more than two centimetres. I had to sand down the spigot with very fine emery paper until in fitted. Now it is just right. Most of the spigot should go into the handle. I measured the total length to find out how much should slide in. The rod is very stiff. Much stiffer at the tip than I expected for that 4kg lower rating. It is a very strong rod and would be very good for trolling, throwing heavy lures or heavy bait fishing. A good rod as a very heavy baitcaster.
