The Anti-Vibro-System in DAM® QUICK® 5 includes dynamic balancing of flange and crank providing almost vibration-free running for more comfortable fishing and increased durability of the reel. The  The drag washers used in the DAM® QUICK® 5 reels are made from carbon fiber fabric that’s laminated on both sides on fiberglass to provide stiffness on the washers which result in a ultra smooth and powerful drag. The drag washers can be turned around as well which results in a brand new drag system. The QUICK® 5 reels are also fitted with double-sealed, stainless steel ball bearings. These keep grease inside and prevent aggressive saltwater from penetrating.
