The heads of larger sizes will have your soft lures at the required depth quickly so you can hunt the big predators on natural obstacles or reefs on the bottom.Like the legendary predators such as the Makaira family - blue and black marlin - these jig heads are designed with an optimal hydrodynamic coefficient useful when doing launch & quick-retrieves - i.e. fish on the fly, or when fishing in deep or strong current.
